# Bakery phone order record

Print one page for each pickup order and complete it by hand. The same original layout is supplied in two paper sizes:

- `phone-order-record-letter.pdf` - US Letter, 8.5 x 11 inches.
- `phone-order-record-a4.pdf` - A4, 210 x 297 mm.

Each PDF contains one blank page with four item rows. These are static printables, not fillable PDF forms or Canva templates. They do not calculate prices, send messages, book pickup slots or collect information online.

## Printing

Choose the file that matches your paper and select that paper size in the print dialog. Start with Actual size / 100%, then check the print preview for clipping. Print one test sheet before making more copies. If your printer needs larger margins, use its Fit setting; this will make the writing spaces smaller. The pages use black and gray text and lines.

## Recording an order

1. Add the customer's name and best contact, the call date/time, your name and an order reference you can find again.
2. Keep the customer's requested pickup date/time separate from the date/time you have agreed. Leave the agreed field empty while it is undecided. Record the pickup location or arrangements below. Use a clear date and time format, including AM/PM if needed.
3. Use one row for each item. Include a quantity and unit, such as `2 boxes`, plus the product, size and details. If four rows or the note space are insufficient, use an extra sheet with the same order reference.
4. Write the currency and the agreed amounts yourself. Amount received means money already received, not a promised future payment. Check the balance separately; nothing is calculated automatically.
5. Tick each check only after doing that step. At handover, write the actual date/time, who collected the order and who handed it over. A tick is your record, not a message sent to the customer.

The layout and wording were created with Codex. No customer details are included in either blank PDF. Page dimensions, text and rendered layout were checked digitally. Physical printer output and individual PDF apps have not been tested.
